Current and former MotoGP stars Jorge Lorenzo and Mick Doohan have been giving their thoughts on the upcoming race at this weekend’s Race of Champions in Bangkok.

The Race of Champions, which is being staged at Bangkok’s Rajamangala Stadium for the 25th consecutive year, brings together some of the best racers in the world from many different classes of racing. This year includes the likes of multiple F1 world champions Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel, who will no doubt make things tough for the two-wheel champions.

Yamaha Factory Racing’s Lorenzo, who lines up for Team All Stars, commented that this is his first time here at the Race of Champions and looks forward to competing with extraordinary champions.

Former Repsol Honda rider Mick Doohan, competing for Team Australia, added that Asia is where it’s all happening in motor sport at the moment and it’s not far from Australia for Jamie and himself.
