Robber jailed for four years
Antoine Spiteri, 36 from Marsascala was jailed for four years after admitting to robbing several residences between August 2011 and June 2012.
Mr Spiteri who has a history of drug problems, admitted to stealing money and jewellery from homes in Rabat, Balzan, Lija and Slema, in addition to damaging a number of properties
.
Defence attorney Mark Mifsud Cutajar said that his client was caught on one of the robberies and decided to cooperate with the police.
