Following years of neglect in the maritime and super yacht sectors Gonzi PN is now trying to make a final attempt at addressing situations in these sectors, a statement issued by PL held.

PL explained how, whilst the promised assistance is a move in the right direction, it is too little too late for Malta to establish itself as a main destination or a one stop shop in this sector.

GonziPN did not take any action in order to make the country a destination that provides services and facilities to super yacht owners, even when the government could have employed the services of experienced tradesmen such as former employees of the Malta Ship Building and the Malta Drydocks.

The statement continued that if PL go to government, this sector will be given the deserved consideration which will bring with it excellent service for potential clients in the sector.
