In his third visit to Gozo as part of his electoral campaign, Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi said that Gozitans will have more jobs and better education.

The Prime Minister added that while Muscat went to Gozo twice as part of his campaign, he has not come forward with any proposals for Gozo.

On the other hand, Gonzi who was speaking in Zebbug, said that "We came to Gozo with concrete projects to generate more jobs in Gozo.”

Gonzi also pointed out that he was personally making home visits in Gozo, which is a crucial area for the election's result.

He reiterated that the Nationalist Party’s proposals included giving financial incentives to upgrade hotels while also to set up new businesses.

He also made reference to the Budget where he explained that a number of proposals which were included were important for Gozo. However, he said that the Budget was defeated because the PL voted against it.
