Carm Mifsud Bonnici not contesting 2nd District
Member of Parliament Carm Mifsud Bonnici will not be contesting the 2nd district, it has been reported.
The Mifsud Bonnici’s have been running out of the 2nd district, particularly Birgu (Vittoriosa), since his grandfather’s days (Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici).
In the 2008 elections, the MP was elected to office from the 3rd District with 2,222 first preference votes, however it took 18 counts for him to reach the required quota. Along with the 3rd, he will also be contesting the 4th District.
