RS2 hits a fresh multi-year high

RS2 started the week in positive territory gaining 2.86% on a turnover of 25,000 shares to close at a 45 month high of €0.72.

HSBC edged down 0.74% as 2,400 shares were negotiated across three deals to finish the first session of the week at €2.70.

Bank of Valletta also registered losses as the equity eased by 1.41% across six deals to close at €2.37,1.

GO moved marginally higher during Monday’s session to close at a 20 week high of €1.12 across two deals.

One single deal was executed in Crimsonwing shares at the last traded price of €0.46.   Equity is currently the best performer for 2012 to date, gaining 84% since the beginning of the year.

Lombard was the most actively traded equity of the day by volume with 34,160 shares exchanging hands at the last traded price of €1.80.

Malta International Airport and Plaza Centres were the only other active equities of the day with both closing unchanged at €1.79,6 and €0.54 respectively.
