RS2 hits another all-time high

RS2 registered an increase of 2.44% on a negligible turnover of 250 shares to finish the third session of the week at an all-time high of €0.84.

A single deal was executed in MaltaPost pushing the equity 2.22% higher to close at a seven-month high of €0.92.

Crimsonwing was the most actively traded equity by volume as 65,479 shares were negotiated at the last traded price of €0.57.

Major banks moved in opposite directions with HSBC recovering part of the previous session’s losses, up 1.74% to close at €2.75 whilst Bank of Valletta edged down 0.2% on a turnover of 25,011 shares to end the day at €2.44,5.

Malta International Airport and GO were the only other active equities for the day with both closing unchanged.

Eight Malta Government Stocks were active with a nominal of 2,320,059 exchanging hands across 26 deals for a total consideration of €2,441,591
